I'm a software developer (from Germany) and this application was born during my free time, using C++ and Qt.

Previously I used 8start Launcher to keep my desktop clean, but every time I've updated my graphics driver, the 8start Launcher was corrupted and I had to kill and start it again, very annoying. I also tried other application launchers, but no one was so easy and simple like 8start Launcher.

So I started developing a simple application which fits my needs and which I really wanted to use.

The result was called QRun!

I'm happy with it and hopefully it is useful to somebody out there.
